MN ACTORS ACADEMY
What happens during the audition process?
Our audition process is simple & follows most industry standards.
We ask that you learn & prepare a monologue no longer than three minutes in length, which you'll perform in front of a panel of two to three people. The audition is very relaxed but please ensure you have learnt your lines.
All information regarding your audition including date, time and location will be given to you well in advance, please fill out our audition form to get involved and someone from our team will be in touch.
When do I find out if my audition has been successful?
Once you have auditioned it takes around two weeks for us to touch base and let you know if you have been successful, we will contact you via email with your result. If you've auditioned & it's been longer than two weeks, hit the button below & get in touch.
If you are unsuccessful and wish to re-audition, fill out our audition form again and someone will be in touch.
I have no previous experience?
Those who attend have varied and contrasting levels of experience and come from all walks of life. Don't be put off by a lack of experience, our auditions are free and open to anyone who would like to be considered for our sessions.
The people who are successful at our auditions and choose to attend our sessions are diverse and that's the way we like it.
Will I be offered professional representation if I'm successful?
While our agency is well known for signing talent from our sessions, we would never promise professional representation if your audition is successful and you are invited to attend classes.
For many of our participants, screen acting is not a practiced skill. If you decide to take part we guarantee growth and understanding. For those who are interested in pursuing a professional career, we are always on hand to offer advice and guidance on how to move forward. The lure of professional representation should not be the deciding factor in you applying, it is a byproduct for those talented individuals we think we can help forge a career and work with long term.
Will I receive a recognised qualification if I attend?
The sessions are run by working industry professionals, they are workshops only and not accredited with any sort of qualification on completion. Working and non-working actors attend our sessions as a way of sharpening and learning new skills.
Is it free to audition?
In short yes, it's completely free to audition. So that we can keep it free please ensure you attend your audition slot if you decide to apply.
Do I have to attend all four terms?
If for whatever reason you are unable to take part in all four terms, or you decide the course is not for you, there is no obligation to continue. Students take part as and when they choose.
